DEAR FRIEND,

Welcome to the second Alzheimer’s Los Angeles Visionary Women’s Afternoon Tea, and
thanks so much for coming! You may recall that last year — our 40th and the pandemic’s

first — we tried something a bit different from our usual luncheon: a wonderful program
for you to watch while you relaxed at home and enjoyed a cup of tea and a boxful of
other treats. We received such positive responses that we couldn’t wait to do it again,

and I feel certain that if you liked last year’s program, you’ll love what we have for you
today: another outstanding and inspiring program and more goodies carefully curated

        by our fantastic staff.

In many ways, it’s been more difficult than ever for family caregivers to keep themselves
and their loved ones safe and healthy during the past year. As always, your support is
crucial to the success of Alzheimer’s LA’s mission to assist them through support groups,

programs and activities, education, care management, and so much more, whether
        online or in person.

Today we celebrate two women whose contributions have made a huge difference in the
lives of Angelenos with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. But we also celebrate
you, the donors, volunteers, and friends whose interest and support make it possible for

our work to continue. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do, and we
        hope you enjoy your tea!

        Wishing you all the best,

Randi Jones | Visionary Women’s Afternoon Tea Chair
