Local Music. Local Food. Local Cause.

Celebrating the Success of the 3rd Annual Making Memories Festival

The 3rd Annual Making Memories Festival, hosted by Alzheimer’s LA at Los Angeles State Historic Park was a remarkable day of unity and celebration.

The multicultural half-day event kicked off with a traditionalvenue blessing performance by the UCLA Association of Chinese Americans Lion Dance team, a mesmerizing explosion of color, sound, and dancethat set the stage for an exciting day of celebration and understanding. Musical talents La Misa Negra, Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse, J.Rocc, and headliners Ozomatli, brought the crowd to their feet, while host Alex Gervasi and Monalisa kept things moving between sets ensuring everyone had a wonderful time well into the evening.

Local food trucks delighted taste buds, and the exhibitor fair featured over 40 community partners and vendors providing valuable information and resources.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our sponsors including Signature Sponsors Zenith Media, Eisai, and Lilly, without whom this event would not have been possible. A special thanks to our dedicated volunteers, local food vendors, performers, and exhibitors for making this festival a resounding success.

Land Acknowledgment: Our event will take place at LA State Historic Park, which is located in the known territory of the Tongva people.
